Here's my idea for a new reality show: American Idol, but with drag queens. Like AI, this show would travel around the country and audition amateur and semipro performers looking to break into the big time. Challenges would be judged on stage presence, costume and makeup design, character work, and singing ability. Unlike AI, however, the cameras would follow the contestants backstage, where they'd be living together. There would be the usual competitive drama, friendships and rivalries forming and breaking (and maybe there'd be a romantic triangle or pentagon or dodecahedron). And in the end, the winner of the competition would be given her own Las Vegas revue!
So what's your idea for a reality show?

You could drop off a group of caucasian ex-Enron executives in downtown New Orleans, and a bunch of black prisoners in rural Arkansas. Come back a month later, and the individuals from each group who are in the best shape get their sentences commuted. If everyone's dead, the local with the most pieces gets $1 million.
